What is zinc Stearate Emulsion (ZnSe)? It is a substance that has the chemical formula C36H70O4Zn. It is a powder that is not soluble in water. It is used primarily as a release agent and lubricant for styrene and phenolic resins, and ammonia resin. In addition, it is also used as a rubber softener and vulcanization initiator.
The aqueous emulsion zinc stearate has been called Zinc Stearate Emulsion . It can be used in a number of ways, such as a release, color retention, lubricant and release agent.
Z Inc stearate Characteristics
It is insoluble in water and soluble only in organic solvents that are hot, such as benzene toluene turpentine etc. Decomposes to stearic and its salts in acid.

Z Inc stearate Preparation
The water method or the melting method is the two main methods for producing zinc stearate.
Generally, zinc stearate that is produced using the water method has an acidic pH, while the alkaline method uses melting. The water method can also be called the wet technique. The water is used as a medium. A catalyst is then added to control temperature and pressure. The metal ions will be replaced by the catalyst through the catalyst. This is followed by the catalyst itself replacing the metal ions to form stearin. Acid is added to the solution in order to generate metal salts. The catalyst goes through post-processing, and it is recycled. The stearate must be centrifuged, then dried and ground until it reaches a mesh size of 200-600. This product meets industry standards. In water production, stearic is usually present in excess. This makes the product look acidic.
The melting method (also called the dry-method) involves adding the metal oxide directly to molten stearic acids (under the condition that a catalyst is present, as otherwise the rate of conversion of the reaction would be very slow). You can control the temperature, pressure and speed of stirring to get stearate from the reaction. Dry method products can be fully reacted because of the presence and general reaction results of the catalyst. Also, metal oxides in the dry product are slightly over-excessive, resulting in an alkaline result.

Use of Zinc Stearate Emulsion
Zinc Stearate can also be used as an accelerator, thickener or lubricant. As an example, zinc stearate can be used in general as a heat stabiliser for PVC. Useful in transparent industrial products. When combined with calcium soap it can be used for non-toxic products. Generally, this product has been used in soft products. However, in recent years hard transparent products like mineral water bottles and water pipes have also been used. This product can be used because it has a good lubricity. It is a product that can improve the look of fouling and also act as a lubricant.
Zinc stearate is widely used in rubber, plastics coatings paints thermal paper cosmetics and other industries.
Rubber Industry: Release Agent, Active Agent, etc.
Plastic industry: internal release agents
Coating industry: color retention agent, filler, etc.
Paint industry: grinding aids
Cosmetics industry: Lubricants
